Created in 2005, the association The Friends of AVE is composed of members who were once helped by AVE. Teenagers, secondary school or university students or even already integrated to the world of work, they have chosen to support the most unprivilidged children just like they had once been helped. Thanks to their experience, they are the most wonderful ambassadors to the youngests.
They are organised in groups of 5 to 30 people per region, they visit elderly people, do tutoring to the youngests who have difficulties, organise the lending of books or give summer lessons to those who need it, thus extending the actions of AVE in their native areas and villages.
400 of them have now joined the association; they meet regularly either in the evening or during a week end in order to discuss their experiences.
